Club's new shack takes shape with work bench and boarding

The smartest club shack in Yorkshire? It's looking that way thanks to some fine joinery work by Jerry, M5JB, and his pal Richard. They arrived 8am to find the wood had been delivered at 6.45am and left near the gate.

Jerry says: 'We got our trestles out and set up the track saw. Boarding out went on until 10.15am when Vickie brought us bacon sandwiches. We then fitted the bench and put patress boxes on the wall ready for second fix and finished at 1.45 pm – work done.'

Many thanks to Jerry, Richard, Vickie and all the other club members who have contributed their time and skills to arranging and setting up this fine and comfortable facility – the envy, surely, of many other amateur radio clubs.
