Training day at the shack: update

Training day with the radio mast

Our training day will go ahead at the club shack on Sunday, May 18, from 10am until 1pm and all club members are welcome to join us.

The session will show:

  • How to use the mast

  • How to set up the shack, including connecting radios to the linear

  • How to connect and use the generator

  • Connection of antennas.

If you want to be able to use the mast, you must be trained, so come along. We hope to see lots of you there, in particular the new faces who may be unfamiliar with the kit.

Please note: The starting time of the meeting has been changed from 10pm as some of our less adventurous members thought it might be past their bedtime.
