Meet the new officers and committee of Denby Dale Amateur Radio Club: From back left, Darran, Richard, Gerald, Jerry. Front: Phil, David and Roger.

Almost all of our members attended the AGM at the Golden Cock on Wednesday, October 16, an encouraging turnout. A new committee was formed as follows:

Chairman, Jerry M5JB; Vice Chair, Roger G4UFZ; Secretary, David M0RIU; Treasurer, Phil G4FSQ; President, Gerald G3SDY. Committee members: Richard M0RBG, Darran G0BWB.

A huge vote of thanks was given to Roger, G4UFZ, for taking on the role of Chairman and Secretary when the previous committee resigned and ensuring a smooth transition until a new committee could be formed.

Roger thanked everyone for their support during the past few months which had made his job so much easier.

Eager to hit the ground running, the first committee meeting has been arranged for Thursday, October 24, at the Star Inn, Lockwood.
