Join us for our Remembrance Day special event station

A Remembrance Day soldier

Our Chairman, Jeremy M5JB, is leading this commemorative special event station for Remembrance Day.

Prevously he's operated the casllsign GB6RD from his home, but this year it expands into a club activity.

It will serve as an on-air reminder of the service and sacrifice of all those who have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life in conflicts the world over.

The station will be set up in our shack on Field Lane, Farnley Tyas, on Monday, November 11, from 9.30am and helpers and operators will be welcome.

It is hoped to operate SSB, CW and digital modes on HF and possibly two metres. So wrap up warm and come and join us for this worthwhile event.
